STATEMENT OF POLICY AND AUTHORITY
Haslers has, as one of its major business objectives, the economical provision to its customers of goods and services that meet in full contract requirements. A cost effective Business Excellence System is the means adopted to ensure that Quality and Business Objectives are met and objective evidence made available to substantiate that achievement.
The company was certified to ISO 9001:1994 by LRQA — Certificate Number LRQ 0943523 and in February 2004 to the new standard ISO 9001:2000 Certificate Number LRQ0943525.
The company has a full commitment to the principles of Quality Assurance, Health and Safety, and safeguard of the environment and recognises the necessity for the involvement of all partners and staff described in this Business Excellence Manual.

A culture of continuous improvement (which includes customer satisfaction) in services offered to clients and to efficiencies in internal operations is communicated and promoted throughout the organisation.
The Practice Director, who is also the Quality Director, is responsible for the Business Excellence System and ensuring that objectives are met. The Practice Director is also the Champion of the Investors in People programme.
The Practice Director is also the Quality Controller.
Amendments to the Business Excellence Manual may only be made with the approval of the Quality Director.
