Jon trained at BDO Stoy Hayward in London until March 1990, when he joined Haslers, becoming a partner in April 1997. He passed his Institute of Taxation exams in 1990 and went on to become a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

He is responsible for the day-to-day running of the tax department, ensuring client compliance issues are kept up to date.

Jon also heads up Haslers’ tax investigations unit and has dealt with many Specialist Investigations, including those carried out under caution. He also lectures regularly on current tax-related topics, as well as representing clients at Tax Tribunal hearings covering different areas of taxation.

Jon is an avid football fan and runs marathons for charity in his spare time.
