Michael Watts is a specialist in the field of Corporate Finance and is able to provide advice on mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, company valuations, fund raising and a number of other areas.
He is also able to conduct investigatory work and has acted as an expert witness in various cases.
He has been with Haslers since November 1998 and became Corporate Finance Partner in January 2007. He is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, an associate of the Institute of Chartered Tax Advisers and a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales Corporate Finance.
Michael’s corporate finance work has included investigatory work in an alleged fraud at a Care Home, which involved reporting to the local authority with the findings of the investigation, lead advisory role for the vendors in the disposal of a telecoms business (Consideration range £10-15m) and acting for a company with two shareholders in dispute and agreeing a way forwards to de-merge the business into two separate entities.
