The UK government has set the world’s most ambitious climate change target – a 78% cut in emissions by 2035.

• Newbuild homes cannot be fitted with oil or gas boilers after 2025.

• The sale of new petrol and diesel cars and vans (except hybrids) will be banned from 2030.

• All UK electricity will be generated from clean sources by 2035.

• The UK has pledged to become ‘net zero’ by 2050.

Legislation, commercial pressure and buyer preference will force every organisation to cut its carbon emissions – and provide proof.
