Is your business Brexit ready for 1 January 2021?

The Brexit transition period will be coming to a close on 31 December 2020 and will see significant changes to the current VAT and Customs procedures for thousands of businesses. The changes will impact businesses moving goods to and from the EU including their own machinery and equipment.

It is imperative that businesses affected understand the changes and implement new procedures in advance of 1 January 2021. Failing to do so will lead to severe delays in the movement of goods and potentially huge penalties. Right now that is the last thing any UK business needs.

Haslers have partnered up with the UK200 Group in order to provide VAT/Customs training, to ensure clients are ready for the changes. These training sessions will be tailored to your business so that you know what you need to do to be ready for 1 January 2021. The training sessions will be run virtually via Teams/Zoom and usually last 4-5 hours.

The training is backed by HMRC who are providing grants to cover the full cost of the training. To ease the administrative burden, we will complete all of the necessary paperwork for you to apply for and receive the grant.
