Leading Accountants Haslers support the World Cup-on-Sea in support of HARP, Southend’s Homeless Charity

Haslers Chartered Accountants are delighted to announce they will be supporting the World Cup-on-Sea, 32 team, 7-a-side football tournament being played on Southend United’s home pitch at the iconic Roots Hall Stadium of Saturday 21 May 2022.

Hosted by A J Chambers Recruitment, Haslers will be entering a team  of staff members and will also sponsor Haslers Japanese Desk, a team made of their Japanese clients.   Team draws took place on Thursday 31st March at The Royal Hotel in Southend-on-Sea and was well attended by the eager players.

Haslers staff team will be made up by Joe Southgate, Saj Mannan, Mark Parsey, Harrison Pleasance, Jack Warren, Kyle Toby, Will Su, Tom Rogers, Phi Nguyen and Dan Frangiamore.

HARP help around 1,000 people on average every year who are either homeless or at risk of homelessness in Southend-on-Sea.  They provide short and long-term accommodation, access to confidence boosting training and activities, and crucial support to help local people overcome homelessness for good.

The event is aiming to raise £50,000 to support local people experiencing homelessness and all profits from the event will be donated to HARP.

Haslers team are hopeful that they will  be crowned World Cup-on-Sea 2022 Champions and will endeavour to raise the most funds from sponsorship and also win the coveted ‘Charity Community Trophy’.
