Laura qualified as an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) in 2003 and advanced to “Fellowship” in 2013.
Laura heads up Haslers’ Business Services Group, and works with a variety of clients, namely in the SME sector, advising owner-managed businesses.
She leads a team of partners, managers and staff delivering comprehensive services to clients including support on all financial requirements, preparation of year-end accounts and audit thereof, management accounts as well as strategic planning support.
Laura leads Haslers’ education, charities & not-for-profit department and has assisted the Firm in building a strong reputation for its expertise in these sectors. As head of Haslers specialist academy team she has helped a number of schools with the conversion process and helped them to remain compliant with the latest legislation.
In September 2019, Laura gained accreditation as a Licenced Mindshop Facilitator and having successfully launched a Business Growth Hub service, she offers strategic planning, growth and business improvement advice as Head of Department for the Business Growth Hub. The new service offering is for entrepreneurial clients that want to grow / improve their business to reach their goals and ambitions. Membership for the service offering includes, quarterly workshops, 1:1 advisory mentoring and coaching (online / phone), peer networking and online tools access through Mindshop.
Laura has a love of tennis and enjoys her time on court playing matches and off court watching them.
