Roding Valley Half Marathon is a success thanks to the support of Haslers
Almost 200 runners have taken to the track and fields around Ashton Playing Fields to take part in the 40th annual Roding Valley Half Marathon, which has once again been sponsored by Haslers Chartered Accountants.
This popular event see’s competitors from across Essex, London and the South East face off against one another in a number of competitive categories.
Loughton firm, Haslers, has been a sponsor of the event and a supporter of the organisers, Woodford Green AC with Essex Ladies, for some time and is proud of its long association with the historic group.
The overall fastest time on the day was set by Nick Harris-Fry, who completed the 13.1-mile run in just 1 hour and 13 minutes.
The fastest female run of the day was Victoria Carter, who managed to set a time of 1 hour 29 minutes, putting her in 14th place overall.
In a message on the Woodford Green AC with Essex Ladies’ website, David Hollingworth the Race Director thanked Haslers for “their on-going support.”
Jon O’Shea, Chairman at Haslers Chartered Accountants and a competitive runner himself, said:
