Advice on VAT
From 1 January 2015, a change to the VAT place of supply rules for broadcasting, telecommunications and e-services means these will be taxable in the EU member state in which the consumer is located, rather than where the business is established.
A new online mini one stop shop (MOSS) will give businesses the option of making a single return covering supplies made to any EU member state.
If you are involved in this type of business, early advice is recommended to ensure that you have the right VAT arrangements in place ahead of the 1 January 2015 implementation date.
