Ellingham Employment Services have been working with Haslers for 23 years.

Haslers undertake our annual audit ensuring compliance and we take advice & assistance from their experts surrounding all tax matters. We have also taken advice on HR matters and the development of partnerships/CICs.

We decided to seek VAT advice from Haslers as being a charity with a range of VATable exempt and zero-rated services we wanted the reassurance from experts that we were working in a compliant manner. We required a team behind us who understood what we did and the range of our services.

The greatest benefits we have received from working with Haslers and their VAT advice service is that Haslers were able to give us a great deal of support when we had a VAT Inspection several years ago. Since then they have provided an annual check on our returns, ensuring our De minimus & Capital Goods Scheme claims are correct. They also undertook the update of our financial records to comply with the government’s Making Tax Digital scheme, providing staff training to ensure we understood the new system. The greatest benefit to working with Haslers is knowing that we have a team of experts we can call on with any query we may have.

Haslers provide fantastic on-going support we know can rely on; one recent instance is the VAT advice we received around a large Lottery grant we received to construct a new building for our clients. Debra provided invaluable advice in our application for non-recoverable VAT and ensuring our quarterly claims to HMRC were correct, with her continuing oversight of the CGS annually.
