My Haslers Story

I wanted to continue learning so the opportunity to study while working suited me. It was reassuring to see other members of staff who joined as trainees and progressed through the ranks.

I’ve progressed so much in the time I’ve been here. With an A level in accounting I was quickly given work in bookkeeping and VAT returns while studying AAT Level 3 and then AAT Level 4.

I have now started the ACA and will become a chartered accountant within the next 3 years. I’ve also had the chance to develop my soft skills, by helping out the new apprenticeship trainees.

I really value the exposure and opportunities I have had in my role, for example, working on different types of jobs and visiting clients on-site. I’ve developed my accounting knowledge by working with seniors on more difficult account preparation jobs. This has helped me grow as I am now able to lead assignments with the help of a junior colleague.
