Sustainability – it’s more than just a word. A sustainable environment is the ultimate insurance policy. That’s why we started Haslers Zero – our commitment to carbon neutrality.
Where are we now?
We’ve partnered with Auditel to undertake a full auditof our carbon footprint. We’ve collected data to quantify emissions – these are documented in our first Carbon Footprint Report.
In line with the report findings, we now have a Carbon Reduction Plan in place – to assist our journey to carbon neutrality.
Why?
The UK is legally committed to reach Net Zero by 2050. Although not compelled to do so by legislation Haslers have chosen to help deliver this result for the benefits of future generations.
Our aims
We intend to achieve the following:
- Operate Haslers in the most sustainable manner possible.
- Demonstrate our commitment to protecting the environment.
- Measure, report and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
- Reduce those emissions over time.
- Move along a structured, planned path towards carbon neutrality and Net Zero.
- Set a good example to others.
- Gain knowledge so we can better advise our clients on their own carbon journeys.
