At Haslers, we are proud to share that we have recently donated to Spark, supporting their incredible mission to help young people with their mental health and wellbeing.
Spark plays an important role in creating safe, welcoming spaces where young people feel heard, supported, and empowered. We know how vital these environments are, particularly at a time when mental health challenges among young people continue to grow. That is why we were so pleased to contribute in a way that could make a meaningful and immediate difference.
Our donation has enabled Spark to purchase a number of thoughtful and practical resources that will directly enhance the experience of the young people they support. This includes new bean bags, which many of the young people themselves said would help them feel more relaxed, comfortable, and at ease during their time at the centre. Creating an environment that feels calm and inviting can make a real difference in helping young people open up and engage more confidently.
The funding has also helped provide a new laptop, allowing Spark’s staff team to work more efficiently and continue delivering the high standard of support they are known for. By improving day-to-day operations, this resource will help the team focus even more of their time and energy on the young people who rely on them.
In addition, part of the donation has gone towards creative resources that encourage self-expression. These materials are especially valuable for young people who are neurodivergent, offering alternative and often essential ways to communicate thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Creative expression can be a powerful tool in supporting emotional wellbeing, building confidence, and helping individuals feel understood.
We hope this contribution helps Spark continue to uplift the young people they work with by fostering an even more inclusive, supportive, and comfortable environment. It is a privilege to support an organisation making such a positive impact in the community, and we look forward to seeing the difference these resources will make.
