Team Haslers Tackle the Three Peaks Challenge — With Just 13 Minutes to Spare!

We’re thrilled to share that a determined group from Haslers recently took on the National Three Peaks Challenge — climbing the highest mountains in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike), and Wales (Snowdon) — all within a demanding 24-hour timeframe.

The challenge saw our team begin at the foot of Ben Nevis (1,345m), before heading south to scale Scafell Pike (978m), and finally travelling through the night to reach Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa). In total, they covered around 26 miles of mountain terrain and climbed nearly 3,000 metres in elevation — an incredible physical and mental test.

Things didn’t get off to the smoothest start. Kicking off on Friday the 13th, the first hurdle was a cancelled flight to Glasgow — so before the mountains even began, the team had to scramble to get to the start line! Once underway, they encountered atrocious weather, dealt with injuries, and navigated traffic delays — but team spirit and determination never faltered.

By the time they reached Snowdon, the team were running on minimal sleep, battling hunger, and pushing through sheer exhaustion. Undeterred, they began the final climb at 3am. In a fantastic final effort, they summited and returned to base camp in just over three hours — finishing the entire challenge with only 13 minutes to spare!

This was a true team effort. Together, the group demonstrated effective planning, resilience, support for one another, and strategic decision-making — all key values we’re proud to promote at Haslers.

We are especially proud that this challenge raised an impressive £14,000 in support of the Haslers Foundation, a cause close to our hearts. The team proudly raised our sponsored flag at each summit — a heartfelt thank you to the following generous flag sponsors for their encouragement and support:

I want to take a moment to personally congratulate and thank everyone involved in our recent Three Peaks Challenge.   Whether you climbed, supported, or sponsored the team — your contribution played a part in what was an extraordinary achievement.

Completing this challenge in under 24 hours, in tough conditions and with just 13 minutes to spare, is no small feat. It reflects the resilience, camaraderie, and determination that runs through the Haslers team.

I’m particularly proud that this was done in aid of the Haslers Foundation, a cause that embodies our values and commitment to giving back.
